Dr. Greta Bărbulescu presented at the International Conference organized by the Working Group Development, Anatomy and Pathology of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) in Malaga, Spain, from 14-16 October 2019, the research project "Innovative Biotechnology for the generation of cardiac tissue in an animal model", which is part of one of the main research areas of the Center OncoGen–regenerative medicine.

The project was coordinated by Prof. Univ. Dr. Virgil Păunescu, Conf. Univ. Dr. Florina Bojin, Dr. Valentin Ordodi and Asst. Univ. Dr. Oana Gavriliuc. The conference was attended by renowned researchers in the field of regenerative medicine, specialists in molecular biology, genetics, morphopathology and cardiology. The presentation won an award in the "Working Group Young Community" poster section, and Dr. Bărbulescu also received a travel grant for young researchers.
