The main objective is the transition of the results obtained through fundamental research and experimental development (TRL 4) to the realization of prototypes (TRL 5) and the production under GMP-Good Manufacturing Practice standard conditions (TRL6) of some innovative diagnostic and treatment technologies in non-communicable diseases and communicable (infectious) with high prevalence and major risk.

OncoGen promotes collaboration with industrial partners and innovative SMEs in the field of biotechnologies. There is a significant barrier in terms of initial capital investment to build research facilities and purchase equipment, without which it is very difficult for any idea to be validated to the prototype stage. It is desired that the exceptional endowments of Oncogen are not exploited in a limited way through access and rental services, but, given the highly qualified human resource, to offer complete services for testing a concept (idea, prototype).
