On December 8, 2017, Prime Minister Mihai Tudose visited the Center for Gene and Cell Therapies in Cancer Treatment - OncoGen.

Initially, the Prime Minister reserved 10-15 minutes in his agenda for visiting the center. The complexity of the projects carried out by OncoGen researchers, the cutting-edge equipment, as well as the opportunities to carry out cutting-edge medical research led Prime Minister Mihai Tudose to extend his visit to the OncoGen Center to a few hours.

On his departure, the Prime Minister promised to allocate more resources to medical research at the OncoGen Center.
