Quality Control Laboratory (QC / GLP)

Short description:

Within this compartment, quality control tests are developed. These are applied in the analysis of all materials and reagents the use of which is considered to be critical in the production and storage of finished materials and products. The lab is essential for establishing procedures for monitoring products dedicated to clinical use and for controlling the quality of cell cultures. We aim at validating all working procedures, including the duration and conditions of transport of biological materials, the protocols for cultivating various cell types, the quality and aseptic verification of reagents, procedures and final products.

Main activities / techniques:

  • sterility tests
  • establishing the number of cells
  • cell differentiation tests
  • cytogenetic tests
  • cell markers detection tests (flowcitometric and / or immunohistochemical)
