Precision diagnostic methods and algorithms

In Oncogen, the methodology for the analysis of biological samples has been optimised in order to achieve an accurate molecular diagnosis allowing personalised therapeutic recommendations. The methods can be applicable to both cancer disease and other non-communicable diseases, for example allergies.

Innovative treatments

We believe that there is local potential to develop innovative treatments for some degenerative diseases, but also for cancer, allergic diseases, infectious diseases.
The most accessible therapeutic options would be cell-based therapies, including those based on the generation of genetically modified cells, and immunotherapies based on the administration of synthetic peptides.

Emerging technologies in medical IT

The Hub for Advanced Medical Biotechnologies and Translational Medicine will support the development of the bioinformatics sector for in silico design of synthetic peptides and subsequent production of these peptides to be used for the development of immunotherapies with applications in the treatment of non-communicable diseases (cancer, allergic diseases) and infectious diseases.
