Oncogen aims to become a regional hub for Advanced Medical Biotechnologies, Bioinformatics and Translational Medicine that interconnects diverse areas of expertise: health, biotechnologies, bioinformatics, artificial intelligence, e-health, biobanking, biosecurity, quality of life.

The generation of this pole of expertise will contribute to the development of competences that can be exploited for the manufacture of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic products in the field of health (biopharmaceuticals, gene and cell therapies) and to attract investment from pharmaceutical/life sciences/biotechnology companies.
